Environmental impact · baseline · monitoring

Baseline and state of the environment, from boundary to chapter.

It starts here

  • The environmental baseline eats days of data collection
  • Every project redraws the same maps with different tools
  • Post-operam monitoring needs comparable formats

Use cases

From problem to deliverable.

Every use case separates the professional decision from the evidence the builder produces.

01

Ante-operam baseline of a plant

The challenge

Capturing the current state of the project area — vegetation, land use, context — before the intervention.

With XN Reports

Register the study area's boundary and open the EIA template: the characterization fills in with current maps and indicators.

Deliverables

  • Ante-operam chapter
  • Thematic maps of the area
  • Starting environmental KPIs
02

Environmental framework for the impact study

The challenge

Composing the environmental reference framework with up-to-date, mutually consistent evidence.

With XN Reports

Use the template's blocks — text, satellite maps, tables — and weave in your specialist analyses where needed.

Deliverables

  • Chaptered study structure
  • Reusable data blocks
  • Typeset PDF
03

Post-operam monitoring

The challenge

Demonstrating how the area evolves after the intervention, in the same format as the baseline.

With XN Reports

Re-apply the template to the site in later periods: time series make the before/after comparison legible.

Deliverables

  • Uniform periodic reports
  • NDVI time series
  • Ante/post-operam comparison

The path

Three steps, always the same.

  1. 01

    Open the EIA template

A chaptered structure with real sample data: you see the final document immediately.

  2. 02

    Register the study area

Draw or import the boundary: maps and KPIs are generated on that area.

  3. 03

    Integrate and export

Add your specialist analyses, refine the copy and export the PDF.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How the builder works, where the data comes from and what you can export.

01Does the report replace the Environmental Impact Study?

No: it produces the data base and the document structure — baseline, maps, indicators, time series. Specialist assessments and technical responsibility remain with the consultant.

02Can I use an existing boundary?

Yes: you can search for a place, draw the polygon on the map or import an existing boundary (KML).

03How do I handle multiple scenarios or alternative areas?

Register one site per area of interest and apply the same template: you get comparable documents with an identical structure.
